General Info
What are the dates and location of CONVERGE 2027?
CONVERGE will be held on Feb. 5-7, 2027, at Ridgecrest Conference Center in Ridgecrest, NC.
The address is 1 Ridgecrest Dr, Black Mountain, NC 28711.
What time does CONVERGE start?
Doors open for the first session at 8pm, and the session will begin at 8:30pm.
Registration is open from 6-8:30pm. Leaders, we encourage you to arrive earlier to handle registration and to assist students with hotel check-in so they can get settled in.
Who is invited to attend CONVERGE?
While aimed at college students and college-aged individuals, we also welcome high school juniors and seniors to attend.
We aim to care spiritually for both believers and unbelievers. Clear Gospel presentations will be given during sessions, as well as sessions designed to deepen the faith of believers.
Please note that registration is group-based for BCM leaders, college ministers, and student ministers.
Is it okay for my high schooler(s) to attend?
While this is a Collegiate conference, we encourage high school juniors and seniors to attend. It is a great opportunity for them to connect with potential college and collegiate ministers near where they will be attending school.
There are breakout sessions aimed at preparing high school students for college, as well as other opportunities to strengthen their faith.
What beliefs will CONVERGE teach my students?
As a part of the South Carolina Baptist Convention, this event will only promote and teach on beliefs laid out in the Southern Baptist Convention’s Baptist Faith & Message 2000.
Pricing and Registration
When does registration open?
Online event registration will open on August 12, 2027. Event registration can happen here.
What is the pricing this year for students and leaders?
Students will be $55 before January 18, 2027. Price increases to $75 on or after January 19, 2027.
Groups come with one free leader registration (promotion code automatically applied at check-out). All additional leaders are $25 per person.
What is included in my registration price?
Your registration includes event attendance and items you receive during the event. Please note housing and meals are not included, but information on housing can be found here.
Can I register my group before I have the required information for group attendees?
Yes! You are welcome to go ahead and secure spots. At the time of securing registration, no payment is due. At the time of securing housing and meal plans, first-night housing payment is due. All payments are due at the time of event, or can be paid in advance respectively. Names are due on January 22, 2027, to Ridgecrest for housing.
Please note that all added attendees require payment before or at event registration.
What is the refund policy?
We do not currently allow for registration refunds, however if you feel you have extenuating circumstances, please reach out to rachelgreen@scbaptist.org if you would like to request a refund. Requests for refunds will not be addressed until after the event and will be offered at the discretion of the CONVERGE team.
A student in my group cannot attend. Can I bring another student and transfer their ticket?
You are welcome and even encouraged to bring another student in the case of a students’ inability to attend. Simply log into your CONVERGE brushfire account, and update attendee information fields.
Logistics
What are the housing options for my group?
Ridgecrest offers plenty of housing for your group! Please learn more about housing through Ridgecrest Conference Center here.
Attendance to the conference is separate from housing, so you are also welcome to bring your group and use off campus housing to attend the event. If you choose off-campus housing, please note that a $25 per person access fee to the event venue will be invoiced to you following the event.
How will parking on the venue property work as a group staying at the resort?
You will not incur any parking fees for on-site housing. All parking spots are available across the campus.
How will parking on the venue property work as a group staying off-campus?
You will not incur a parking fee for parking on campus. However, off-campus event attendees will incur a one-time $25 per person charge for access to the property for the weekend.
Will meals be included in my registration?
Registration does not cover meals; however, Ridgecrest offers dining on-site, which you can include alongside on-campus attendance. Please see our leaders page to see what meal plans are available to you: link

What meal plan options are available to my group at Ridgecrest?
You will have two options for meal plans:
- $77, 5 meals, covering Friday dinner, all three meals on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday
- $58, 4 meals: Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, Saturday lunch, Sunday breakfast
Ridgecrest’s menu is allergy friendly. Items are labelled with specific allergy restrictions in the buffet line.
Meal plans are by group, not individual. Should your group participate in meals on campus, all housed attendees will automatically be counted under meal plans. Your group meal plan must be finalized by phone with Ridgecrest no later than January 29, 2027.
Missed meals for any attendees will not be refunded.
When are meal times?
Dining Room Meal Times
- Breakfast: 7:15 – 8:15 a.m.
- Lunch: 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
- Dinner: 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
Is the venue ADA compliant?
For ADA needs, our rooming block contains seven Handicap accessible Mountain Laurel East rooms available to your group. In our rooming block bunk lodging, there are no rooms categorized as handicap accessible, but some rooms are better for those with accessibility challenges. Please ask about these options if needed.

Can I request to be an exhibitor at Converge?
All exhibitors are those who are ministry partners of the SCBaptist Convention. If you feel that there is reason for you to be a vendor, please email Rachel at rachelgreen@scbaptist.org with your request.
Is my group required to sit together for the event?
While it isn’t required, it is encouraged! Doors typically open 15 to 20 minutes before sessions, so be ready to head in.
I have a non-believer in my group. Is this a good time to encourage them to attend an event?
We encourage your group to bring non-believers. Through our main session speakers, we each yearmake a call to salvation and offer counselling through decisions during the event.
Additionally, we aim to have a few breakouts to allow students to learn about the fundamentals of the Christian faith, based on Sotuhern Baptist beliefs.
